Get a box from Marlin. The only reason I did not on my latest rig is was becasue he told me not to. It is not designed for the torque of a 4BT Cummins.

MeGolfer had no problems at all with his set up.

If you go with a toybox and splitcase iy will hold up to just about anything. The stock 3 speed or 4 speed will not hold up to anything.

Has anyone personally had an Orion pop out of gear, at least on the new version. It seems that having one pop out of gear and experience it first hand is like see big foot with your own eyes.

Anyway, when it comes time to look into gearing after next summer, I will see if a toy box is an option for me. thanks for the info and I will keep that in mind.
