try backpakers magazine or outside magazine...
They cater to the outdoors folks and have awesome destination articles...
I have kept a few for when my trip to Alaska comes around...hopefully next summer.... Woohoo !!

I'll second Outside magazine. They focus on the hiking type camping and have product reviews on everything.

yeah, was at the barnes and Nobles today checking them out, I wonder if there is any international AUS magazines out there for us? probably expensive though. I do like Outside magazine as well and I cant get enough of my Overland Journal

National Geographic "Adventure" or "Travel" or something like that.
Dropped my subscription cuz there were too many yummy places to go & not enuf $$$ to do so.

funny, but true, I have 49 days of leave/ vacation accrued and no money to go nowhere?

Found a good one today, it is called WEND magazine, adventure/ inspiration/activism

you can actually buy an online subscription for like $12? Thats what I will probably do and I beleive it is 5 issues per year VS $5 per issue at store?
