Well , lets hear the story. Trying to find out if it can or cannot be done. I have buddies that want to do this trail, I just don't know if it is possible.

I never had the chance when I've been there. I've always been with pre-FJSummit attendees, most of which weren't willing to put their rig in harms way as can happen on that trail. I know you have the rig and the skill, just need the back-up of another, equally equipped rig...

I thought there was a fairly stock FJ that did it back in the early days (07 time frame). Swear I saw it in 4wd Toyota Owner with some truggies doing the trail.

You can take nearly any truck through Pritchett but not well built and armored you'll spend all day winching and tearing the truck up.

Some years ago ('08 or '09) at CM a group of us did Pritchett in the rain and we had one well built FJC. Larry L. and his Voodoo blue FJC are all about trying the difficult trails. IIRC this was before his Budbuilt skid and Lefty w/ gears. Not knowing what the trail is like now since it changes I still would have no issue taking a well built (F&R lockers, min 35s, armor) FJC on Pritchett, just be prepared to winch especially if it's wet. It is a fun trail though if you have the rig and opportunity to try it.

Here are a few pics from 4wd Toyota Owner. Looks pretty close to stock..

Thanks Jerry, well seeing as how I don't have 35's the officials probably won't let me register for it ." If " I get to do that run it would definately be with my Gotham City LC buds, that I trust and would wheel anywhere with.

Might just have to take the 4runner and break it in the right way.

Oh yeah, and I have been told that this trail is even harder than before due to the difficulty and getting used.
Stay tuned, .......
