Just confirmed with the wife that she is taking the kid to visit family so I will be free next weekend. Just wondering if there are any events or anyone goi out and I can tag slog with. I did mojave solo but wasn't as fun.

Okay great,... Truckhaven is less than an hour away. Been out there? There are all kinds of places to go around there. I will know if I am able to go out in the next couple of days. What day are you thinking of going out?

At this point it's just saturday. Truckhaven looks cool but man that's far! Do you know anything between LA and palm springs?

I think between Palm springs and Thousand Oaks there is really only big bear.
