Ansani Designs is now shipping the follow-up to its award-winning JK Wrangler Induction Hood. The new “K5″ version extends the factory lines with a higher, broader, more muscular profile inspired by the classic Chevy Blazer. Ansani Designs created the new hood in response to enthusiast requests for a lighter-weight hood that increases engine-compartment space. A uni-directional fiberglass manufacturing process provides about a 50 percent weight savings while still keeping the hood rigid at highway speeds. Factory hardware is reused, and the K5 JK Hood ships in a primer-ready gelcoat finish.
