I was going to buy a kit with the adaptor but it says only for cable linkage. This is for my 82 and it has a cable but it goes along the firewall to the solid/pivot linkage. It is not the cable linkage that goes over the valve cover. What do I need to do to get the right carb? Do I have to change to cable linkage?
