Looks perty darn good. I like it, too. Did you do much color sanding?

dang nice! GREAT WORK

nope havent color sanded. not sure if i will, i only have one coat of paint and im sure sanding would make it even thinner. although it would definetly blend the streaking a little bit better. im pretty content with it so far.

Well, that's all that matters, then.
I asked because most folks ROLLING Rustoleum ( i see that you rattle canned it) sand it to within an inch of it's life and get some amazingly clean results.

As a side note:
Thanks again for the rear hatch for my 62 you sent me several months ago. It needed only a little TLC and paint, and installed just fine.
Of course, I used real automotive paint, neener neener!

Not a problem on the rear hatch.

For I am only 17 and have a lack of patience I would not be able to take the time to use a gun and lay the paint nicely :D

where did you get the paint, cost, amount of paint? i am thinking about doing the same thing

sweet, what type of prep did you do? my cruiser sits outside all winter and the snow here in utah isnt the best i was thinking about giving it a quick coat to help prevent rust

well it was primered before because when i orginally painted it with primer i had planned on painting it very soon but never got around to it. so i just kind of scuffed it up with 300grit and gave it a fresh coat of primer (because the old primer had glazed over) and then sprayed the paint on. it was easy because i had done all the body work previously
