Very nice job on the transformation...

I bet it'll be used well, and very popular on the trail with all those amenities!

Congrats on a fine trailer...

MB-T mods

I have decided to upgrade the Honeywell 1000 watt generator which would not start most of the time. My money was returned after a few months worth of phone calls to Honeywell who is also tied in with Generac somehow. I will be getting a Yamaha 1000 watt model with a 47 db noise rating and will run 12 hours on a tank of gas. This is mostly for around the house stuff but I will keep it on the trailer. It is over twice the price of the Honeywell, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I also ordered a Nato gas can to replace the Blitz which goes back on the Jeep. I got this can from Atlantic British at roverparts.com and am very pleased with the quality.

I will receive the generator on Tues. and let you know what I think.

Generator mod.

Received the new Yamaha 1000 generator yesterday. seems to fit the existing tray built for the Honeywell model, I will try and run it tomorrow and see how quiet it is. 47 db is 5 db less than the Honda. It also comes with a set of 12 volt cables for charging the battery.

I also order a load meter to check wattage or amps before I go hooking things up to it and I ordered a cover too.
