I made a similar rack out of an ATV ramp. Mine isn't as pretty but certainly works great!

Mine sits on Thule bars right now, also have a shoved and jack mounted to it. Here it is loaded on the Kokopelli Trail

Is the front of your rack load bearing?

Do you get much wind noise from your ramp rack?

My tires are louder than the wind in the rack.

Finished my atv ramp rack for my 100 series. Welded & Powder coated. Turned out better than I imagined. It's very strong and will make a great platform for photos.

I'm building mine right now. Nothing to it! $109 48" wide bifold ramp from ebay and $65 per 4 Kargo Master gutter clamps. I'll be running 1"x2" rectangular tubing as load bars under the ramp ($25 for a 20' stick). $199 plus some bolts and spray paint and you can have one too! I'll add a trim piece around the edge when I get back from my Big Bend trip. Easy peasy.

After over a year and a few big trips, the rack is holding up fine!

I'm considering it because I'm looking to buy a RTT this summer and need a place to mount it plus room up top for gear since I'm planning a cross country trip next spring. NY to CA with a few stops at some choice off roading sites along the way.

JCruse are you a NY-er?

My JMoose with wind deflector - welded and powder coated. Ironman awning. Mounted on thule bars. The ATV ramp is rated at 1200 lbs and is a trifold

That looks fantastic! How many hours do you have into the build?

Thanks for the comment. Still a work in progress - there's a lot of nice trucks that I still want to copy from

Good Gawd @gofast, that shop is meticulously clean! Envious as I can barely walk in mine.

Just finished plumbing the air. Its a brand new shop build - hence the cleanliness. I started from bare dirt last September and finished construction in November - been fitting it out ever since - When you come to the Okanagan next time drop by for a beer.
