A neighbor of mine is a Marine who served in WWII, Dr. Harold Caver, he also was a dentist and a past client of a company I co-own.
Anyway, he told me about something that he and a group were doing where they make something called angel boxes or angel cradles. When infants pass away the parents were forced to take them away in cardboard boxes that the hospitals provided and it just wasn't right. They make these and donate them.

I had talked to him about trying to spread the idea and also get someone to build a website or something to collect monetary donations for these old guys to buy the wood to make these and for the little old ladies to get the material to make the inserts. I had acquired angelboxes.com and angelcradles.com with the intent of helping them out, but I really need some help trying to help put it together.
I'm also not sure if it's something that shouldn't be a non-profit idea that provides something for other communities as well. This doesn't just occur in Jackson. Read the article at the link above and let me know if you have any ideas.
