Am I missing a bracket for the RS3000 security module under the seat?

Does anyone know if this is secured to the floor somehow? Am I missing a bracket? It’s been floating on the carpet under the seat for years?

Swear mine was just zip tied to holes in the factory carpet. Now it just floats. . .but idk how it’s “supposed” to be.

From memory, one side into a slot int the carpet, the other is zip tied to the carpet.
Thanks. I have a new uninstalled carpet kit from Toyota. I don’t see a slot for it. I may have to slice a spot and then reinforce it so it doesn’t continue to tear in the future.

I don't think you have to worry about that. I believe those alarms were installed port side and they didn't reinforce the carpet.

They were just zip tied to the carpet. I have the installation manual at home somewhere.

If you are installing new carpet, I’d probably stick some Velcro to the alarm brain and use that rather than cutting up a brand new carpet.
That’s a solid idea.

I'd throw away the alarm system.......
