Alternator wiring

So I picked up a new engine (22r) for my 1985 toyota, the owner said it was from a 1987. After getting the majority of everything hooked up, I was left with one wire coming from the alternator that had nothing to be plugged into. I posted two pictures to show the end of the wire and where its connected on the battery. Any idea of what this can/should be connected to?

the b terminal on the back of the alternator should go all the way back to the box buy your battery. that green connector does look like it goes to the ignitor, but no where on my diagram does it show a wire directly from the alternator to the ignitor.
