alternator replacement

i am working on 1991 fj80 3fe and need to replace the aletrnator. do you know of an alternator that will fit without major modifications? maybe from newer LC or different maker?

No. Get the correct 80 or 90 amp unit. The mounting brackets are different.

thx Marco. the alternator sevice guy mentioned to go with newer model because of parts avilability next time and modern technology and to modify the holders .we dont have such alternator in my country
