I've done installation for new Alpine Helo 309

I was researching head units like this the other day. Thanks for sharing. Was this a single DIN unit? How did it attach behind the filler template you made? Look forward to more progress!

Its single DIN Unit.
I've used the FJ60 Oem radio bracket i will send you photos later from back side

How did you restore that dash so nice? Is it a dash pad? Where did you get it? Thanks

@Nshahbic Just had to tweak the brackets it looks like. Keep us updated once you get it in the vehicle.

Thank for posting this. This is exactly the set up I want to install In my FJ60. Please continue to post your install and feedback on the halo 309. I was worried it may be too big in the 60, but that looks like a perfect fit and is proportional! Curious what you set the screen angle to as well.

That's great. I am thinking of going with a Halo or a Sony (they make a similar one). But I certainly want Apple CarPlay so I run Gia Maps on the big screen.

I think we were looking at the same unit. A little cheaper than the Alpine. Still looks like it would do the job. Sony XAV-AX8000?
