Allison transmission

[tlcruiser66]

I'm going to look at a 02' 2500 duramax tomorrow morning and am wondering if all the 01'+ duramax auto's came with the Allison trans.

If not, how do I go about finding out if the one i'm looking at has the Allison?

Thanks guys,

Kevin

IIRC the duramax only came with an Allison..

Sweet, that was what I was hoping for. Thanks Mace

Actually I believe the Duramax could also be ordered with the 4L80E. The Allison is an option.
