Has got me thinking about the '08 FJs. See what ya think. Mustard yellow, Dana 60s, larger suspension, stock 35s, 4 doors and a white bezel. Ready to go.
I'm hoping for '08 they ditch that aweful front bumper with the fake plastic wings, and the "insect eye" taillights. Dana 60s front and rear would be great, but no way would they do it. I'd like to see 80 series axles under it, and front and rear lockers. Bigger doors = good idea. How about a factory 4:1 transfer case?
35s on a stock truck might be more than most of their target market could handle.
WOW the proportions on that chop make the "C" pillar look alot smaller. Damn near reasonable even.
I'll have to see it to believe it. Removable/soft top option on the FJC. Even the "Special Edition" package is just rumor. It'll take alot of body structure retooling to make a removable top meed D.O.T. standards. I honestly can't see Toyota putting that much $$$, and R&D into it right now.
