Awesome, but seriously though, would these platforms not be fantastic for an all-electric conversion? I guess battery weight would be a limiting factor; I wonder how heavy the 5.7 and drivetrain is...

I guess it'd be something in the 800lb +/- 100 range for just the engine and tranny.

We're about to see just how game changing electric drivetrains as applied to trucks will be with all announcements recently. I welcome it. Wonder when Toyota will get their head in the game. Disappointing as I've had a Toyota EV 8 years ago, and a Tesla EV now. Game changing.
