All backspacing same on FJ OEM wheels??

Hey guys,

I currently have the Anthracite TRD FJ wheels on my 05 Tacoma. I'm looking at going another route with the 17" FJ alloy wheels and was wondering does it have the same backspacing as the TRD FJ wheel?? Would be great if so because I wouldn't have to run spacers. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. WM

Most of the wheels offered for the FJC have backspacing between 4 5/8" - 4 3/4", the TRD's you are running are 4 3/4" backspacing and the 17" alloys are 4 5/8". I'd speculate that if the TRD wheels fit, the 17" alloys will also...

Thanks coach. Yeah I know the 17's will fit but I'm worried about the backspacing. I don't have to use wheel spacers with the TRD's. Wonder if I will need them with the 17's?? Hummmm....

The issues are rubbing on the UCA's and the brake calipers. If the 16" TRD wheels fit, then I'd feel confident that the 17" wheels will clear the calipers also. With another 1/8" less of backspacing, the 17" wheels will push the tires that much farther out, away from the UCA's...
