There was a thread somewhere awhile back about alignment/frame shops but I cant find it.
Anyways, I think you guys mentioned one near Steves shop that was pretty good?
I want to get some more prices on fixing my trusty 'lil Echo.

Well this will be way more than 100 bux. I have a bent A arm and other stuff. I dont think that's something one of those rinky dink alignment/brake/tire shops can do, or that I'd want them to do.

I took my truck to Mangus the owner operator of AVB Automotive in Surrey after reading a few threads in BC4x4: http://bb.bc4x4.com/showthread.php?t=101316&highlight=Magnus. He did an excellent job with my alignment but he apparently does all types of work. He is a wheeler himself and also is open to cash.

I've had my BJ74 at Port Moody Wheel and Alignment for an alignment, took my Focus there when I still owned it, and my parent's Explorer just this week. Always receive honest service and I've been there enough that I know they're not gonna screw me over. You usually have to book a week in advance but phone and talk to Mike, he's the owner.

I tried to search for that thread too... somehow I just cannot search for threads on the BC coastal cruiser page. It was comes back "sorry no hits"...

I'ved tried all kinds of words, always the same thing... whuts up with this forum in here?

I've known Mike at Port Moody Wheel and Alignment for almost 30 years now and he's one of the best. I've always found he has good rates and really stands behind his work. He is busy, but that's why. Everyone from 4x4, grocery getters, vintage oldies to top fuel dragsters go there.

Ya I was at PortMoody Wheel Alignment, saved me hundreds of dollars. Honest great guy. Just like Craig said.

Echo is fixed!

Thank you Magnus of ABV!

Wow, that guy is great. After quotes ranging from $1500 just in parts (from Toyota) and $800 from a local body shop (and a 2 week wait), Magnus was able to fit me in after a couple days. Picked it up this morning and only a $200 bill.

Any and all steering/alignment type kind of stuff is going there in the future.

Side note: He had a not too bad looking bj60 outside that he was going to look at for a customer, wasnt for sale tho :crybaby:.
