Alerts Keep Reappearing

My alerts sometimes won't disappear after viewing, and other times reappear when I have marked them read.

Thanks for sending. My alert settings are identical, except that my "Summarize similar alerts with numbers greater than" setting is 4 instead of 2.

The other possibility is your computer is blocking the cookies used by the forum to manage those alert triggers. That's a setting with your browser or your virus software.

Thanks Woody. I browse I a private window, so perhaps that is it. But I have done that for a long time, so maybe the interaction between my browser and the site has changed. No big deal—there are bigger problems in my life.

That has to be it. Alert settings are identical for everyone, so that type of oddity is hard to chase down.
