Bug: Alert notification is not working

@woody It seems for the las 2-3 days I have not been getting a notification badge on Alerts.

Odd, because Alerts are what brought this to my attention...

I got an email for your reply but no red badge

If you linked fron the email, you dont need the alert......i got the alert, had 8 this morning....
