Hope all you “Guru’s” are keeping well.
I’m in a bit of trouble with trying to get TechStream to run. Now first question, am I sending this question from the right place in this forum.
Second point I’m based in Northern Ireland.
Third point,
I downloaded TechStream from TechStream in 5 minutes from this IH8MUD website.
I had it up and running perfectly all but for 1 problem, there was no AHC data coming up, like I mean the AHC was not even listed on the TechStream platform.
Somewhere within IH8MUD I read that this issue arises because of an issue with “The Region or Area” meaning that Getco had created that download to suit North America Area or Region.
So all was well, I went back into the program and changed the Area to JAPAN as was the suggestion from the Forum. However unfortunately it appears that when I changed Region, thereafter when I loaded up TechStream and got to the point of pressing Connect to Vehicle I usually got a screen Register TechStream Software (S314-01) and asking for a KEY to be input. I don’t have any idea how to get this key.
But sometimes another pop up appears after pressing the CONNECT button, it’s called Register TechStream Software ( S314-02) and it reads WARNING. and OK
Now to give the complete story after starting off with an Apple MacBook and using parallels software in which I did get TechStream up and running, but with the missing AHC diagnostic aspect, I eventually found an old HP Laptop which I totally cleaned and set up as a dedicated TechStream Laptop on which I’m running Windows XP.
Once again I had TechStream up and running perfectly, connecting to my 1998 LC100 4.2vx. But no AHC data again. Then I tried changing the Region settings and yet again straight into the problems of Register TechStream Software with 2 Dialogue boxs (S314-01) and (S314-02).
Any help or guidance would be greatly received.

but I think I did try that. I’ve been cobbling with this scenario for months now. Sort of made it a hobby to fiddle at in no rush but alas I’m now in a rush as I know my AHC pressures are way out and putting way to much load on the system now. So I really need those accurate pressures data. However I think I will uninstall the software and reinstall from Getco’s file in TechStream in 5 minutes forum and just try selecting LEXUS LX as you have kindly suggested. One question, I wonder will this not reactivate the Registration screen again?
