For the past month, my 2007 LX 470 rear height has been acting nuts. When I start my car, the car would raise the rear to very high, causing bouncy ride initially. Then it would lower itself somewhat as I drive. But it is still higher than the front. Sometimes the rear would go to lowest position (lower than the front) and also causing very bouncy ride, uncomfortable ride. I tried changing the AHC fluid but that did not help.

My AHC still works as I change from Low to High in case you are wondering.

I am pretty sure it's the height sensor.
I don't want to spend $$ for a pair of these at the moment.

I was thinking of disabling the AHC all together, what do you think?
Last night somehow the ride adjust itself to normal height, and I would like to take this opportunity to do the following:

Pulled the AHC-B 15 AMP Fuse from the interior driver's side kick panel fuse box.
Pulled the AHC 50 AMP Fuse from the engine compartment fuse box.
Unplugged and removed the AHC ECU from under the steering wheel, above the accelerator pedal.

Will this procedure disable the rear to from on moving up and down at its own will?
