Just did this job this afternoon. Pretty straightforward except that I might've run the reservoir dry momentarily when the system was refilling the globes. I did a bleed after pouring in the fresh fluid, and bled til it ran solid, but I'm curious if I should do another bleed, or if any air in the system will work itself out with adjusting between High-Normal-Low settings on the AHC system. Any advice is appreciated!

As well, I did the pencil test and none of my old globes appeared to be totally shot (however I was only seeing about 4-5 graduations of change between the High and Low settings in the reservoir). If anyone wants a set of original (2004) Toyota/Lexus globes, 5 used bleed screws, and a fresh set of globe O-rings for the cost of shipping (or available for local pickup in Austin, Texas), they're yours! I'll probably keep all this for a week or so before tossing.

I'd just flush it again with 1 can of additional fluid. You can reuse what comes out during the flush too, but maybe run that through a coffee filter just to make sure you aren't re-adding debris.

Bought two cans cuz I felt like this scenario could come up. Thanks!

Did you do another bleed? Did it improve anything? I replaced mine on Wednesday. Did not run dry, no bubbles on the quick bleed. Truck rides about the same as before (which is OK, not great) and height adjustments are somewhat jerky and take slightly longer. I did go from 7 or 8 grads to 14+ FWIW. Wonder if I should fully bleed it.

Haven’t done a second bleed but that is my plan. As well, I just got a Kingbolen diagnostic tool which gives me front and rear AHC pressure readings and learned that I need to crank up my torsion bars. Hoping that adjustment will speed up the adjustment time between L-N-H. Guessing it will only harshen the ride tho?

My new globes and fluid change didn’t appear to change my ride experience or speed of adjustment between settings, but my original gloves were also not toasted.
