AHC drain and fill only 1.8 litres?

09 LX. Sucked all the fluid I could out of the reservoir and only just under 2l came out. Is this correct? I put the same amount back in and everything is normal. Thoughts?

Did you bleed the system? What height was the lx at? The lower the vehicle, the more fluid there will be in the reservoir.

i did not bleed, just wanted to do a drain and fill. It was down in low mode

That’s why. From what I remember there is another <2L in the system. Why didn’t you bleed? That step is easier then sucking out the res.

nobody in the city has any fluid. I was only able to buy 3 bottles. My question is because 2.5l is what is supposed to drain but i got 1.8

I wouldn't be too worried. If you got all you could out, and the new post fill level is between L and H, you're fine.
