Well, I had smoke under my dash this morning. It turned out to be my light switch. My dash and running lights went out but headlights still work. I think its just age. I wont have a chance to look at it until later today. Sometimes I had to exercise the switch to get things to work but not for a few months at least. Anyway, before I get a "new" switch, I'd like to know if there is any years to look for. I have a 74. When I was under there I saw a plug with five wires and above that there are two wires comming out. Is this for a light? It never lit up. Thanks for your help. BTW, if you have an extra switch laying around that will work, send a pm.
