The height factor is not that bad, but the fear of falling thru decripit aged un-reinforced concrete is pretty high. I would have turned around when those first holes appeared at the top of that one staircase.

Cool vid, I thought he was on a mountain bike at first, I'm guessing that fella has done that trip a few times.

All the others that he past were tethered to the cliff face,I don't think he was.Holy :censor:!

I checked out some other vids. Seems like the popular place to be - for those who have a death wish. A lot of the people in the other vids weren't tethered - including one vid of a brother and sister causually strolling along with no line. They don't look exactly like they are outfitted for mountainering. Crazy Germans: YouTube - el camino del rey

The fear of falling doesn't scare me. The landing dose though. I have fallen from roofs a couple of times and the landing tends to hurt.

he moves pretty quick in that video.

Yes walking on 100 year old concrete isn't my first desire that high in the air.

in the wiki page this sums it up "However, adventurous tourists still find their way into the walkway."

Fawking adrenaline junkies. Yes the holes in the beginning were enough for me to turn around.

And people think I'm nutz driving on ice roads in the winter.

this was a foolish video.

They pass quite few in full gear. Which is fine to me. I would not walk that pathway with out a harness and teather.
