Curious. If you do a lot of water crossings have you relocated your diff breathers?
Yes. And the rear still gets water in it. A hot diff, when submerged in 40F creek water, will pull in some moisture past the seals. Not a lot, but it's apparent in annual changes. The front stays decently clean and the TC stays very clean. The rear is gross after a year. My GX also gets worked hard towing.

At the risk of resurrecting an old thread... the Owner's Manual clearly calls out 75w90 GL-5 Hypoid for the transfer case... not GL-4 and not SAE90W

I just used Blauparts "kit" for diffs and TC, at ~60k. Best of all it was easy to source. (And seems similar price to Febi per L)

Anyone else consider using Blauparts products? especially for TC?
Been using the Ravenal since I changed the transfer case fluid at 30,000 miles. Now at 95,000. Good stuff. Buy it when Bluparts has a holiday sale. I thinks its only 2 liters. The dispensing of the fluid from that bottle is awesome.
