i heard about that last week from some guys at work. they told me some crazy story about how some people drove golf carts & trucks thru the neighborhoods going up to the entrance. tore up yards and made a mess. it's always the stupid few that ruin it for others.
There is a back way into Aetna Mtn, but it is gated. So, you would have to be with a person that has a key. Or for $36 million you can buy the mountain.
I've been there twice and didn't fell comfortable, something about gun fire.
It's also a good place to burn a stolen Land Rover.
