My first post so just wanted to say how amazing a community this is!
My FJ60 is 1983 and as I am in the UK and there arn't any I imported it from Australia. Easy! Stunning condition and no rust.
My distributor was faulty so I have installed a HEI from Cruiser Corps - I read the debates between stock and HEI with interest!
So Question - for the 60 series - how do I delete the Coil and its wiring? For the new HEI I have used the existing spade connector and seems to work BUT the ballast and existing coil is still connected. Also it seems if I delete the coil and set up a dedicated relay that the tacho would not work?
Any advice gratefully received. thank you.
