Hello, I've got the 308 Bearing part number 716317 seated in the Advanced Adapters casting, nicely seated to the snap ring depth. Last night I could not get my Transfer case over the bearing and bolted on. I didn't want to force it. All the mating edges are clean and free of burs etc. AA says the bearing diameter is 90mm (3.543). When I measure with my calipers the inside dia of the recessed area the bearing seats is 3.543. Not the fit I was expecting. Have any of you guys completed this step and have some advice. I could apply heat to the TC in the area I need to fit over the bearing. Or line it up and use the bolts and clamps to try to press it into place. I thought it would be designed with a little clearance. Any
advice or points would help. Thanks.
