This may have been posted by somebody, but I discovered this today and it was one of those huge light bulb going off moments. Buy some stainless 1/4” snap hooks/ carabiners.

Insert the small end into the unused third row latch, push hard, you may have to grab the other end with vise grips, it takes a lot of force. Push and CLICK! Repeat for the other side. This makes a super stout anchor point, and you can run a standard bungee cord through it easily. To remove them, just operated the seat release latches.

Here is a cool roof access ladder I just received, it fits close against the right side with cardboard to protect the plastic:

The ladder is only 1.75” wide when closed, it fits there perfectly, and at 30” high the top step is perfect for accessing my roof rack and cargo box.

Great idea👍

Just ordered a set. Can you share what you used for the lower seat mounting point (shown in photo with the ladder and orange bungee cords)

That is a home made anchor plate, from very heavy gauge stainless steel. The large opening is mainly for the Master Python cable lock that I secure my generator with, but it also makes a fine attach point for other stuff that don’t go under the seat mount very well, like those large diameter plastic bungee hooks.

Thank you, I just order them as well!!!

I bought a mulit-pack and this is what I did with the extras. Kind of an odd angle, but they still might be useful. I could probably rotate them around but didn't want to force them.

The others popped right into the third seat latch without any force.
