The Umpqua Land Trail Riders Association has been working with the Umpqua National Forest to develop a plan to create a series of new trails in the forest. These will be dedicated trails for ATV, dirt bike, and SXS. When groups like this get great projects into the works we need support them. We also need to send a signal to the land managers that projects like this are popular, and that the public wants them completed.
We created a quick action alert in our Action Center for this project, so anyone can submit a comment to District Ranger Sherri Chambers. All you need to do is fill in your information. You can use our comment text, or you are welcome to add your own feedback. After you submit your comment, you can also easily share the alert to other users. If you live near Roseburg, Oregon or recreate in this area, we also added the feature that allows you to submit a quick letter to the editor to the local papers. The process will only take a few minutes, which is a small way you can help those who have spent countless hours getting this project this far.
