That guy was lucky to survive. The Aussie van was even worse.

My neighbour use to like filling garbage bags with acetylene and then push them over to a fire. Yes, a true red neck. The resulting explosion was enough to shake our house.

I saw this past week and shared it with my fellow plumbers at work.... but why use electronics?! *face palm*

That is what the large screw cap over the tank valve is to prevent, which probably sitting in his garage under a pile of crap. Since any electro-mecahnical device will create an arc, it is strange it didn't blow up when he activated the power door locks. Cylinder should have been vented in any case.
