I recently found a disconnected wire in the engine bay which when attached to the proper battery terminal powers a three way accessory bank(cell phone charger, etc...) The little green light on the accessory module is on 24/7 when the wire is attached at the battery. Will this drain the battery or can I leave it in place as it is quite useful. As you can tell I am quite new to this.

I wouldn't worry about the green light, it sounds to be very small. Unless you plan to park the vehicle for extended amounts of time I.E. months.
