The OEM replacement part is 78100-60090- costs around $600 because you have to replace the whole assembly which includes the pedal. Seems like it should be fairly easy to just swap the sensor. Heres a pic of the lx470 pedal sensor and another pic of one from an Lexus ES. Anyone happen to have the part number off of just the sensor part so i can try and track down just the sensor?

The full part for the ES300 is 146.00??? why such a difference??
plug connections appear to be the same on the sensor itself.

update- The sensor has a Toyota part number- 89281-47010. This wasnt available at a dealer but can be ordered from other places for around $30.00. It appears to be a Hiace part (Toyota light commercial truck). Better than purchasing the whole pedal assembly. i have one on order and will see how the replacement goes.

I swapped the sensors- careful to match the placement of the old one and the loss of power seems to have been resolved.
