Hey Gang - Does any body happen to have their head in the engine bay and able to shot me a picture of the accelerator cable going through the firewall into the cabin?

Thanks in advance.

Are you running an aftermarket cable in a 60? Or is the for the 62?

These are the pics I have on hand from installing a lokar cable for a Holley sniper setup. I had to bend the hand throttle provision over to the passenger side an inch or two for it to clear the carb evap line on the firewall. I’m also running a larger brake booster and the two holes you see drilled to the left came out behind the booster. Hence, bending the pedal arm. This is on an 87 FJ60.

The OEM FJ60 with the Aisin carburetor uses a linkage not a cable. The pedal lever penetrates through the firewall and move rod 78104 up and down, which rotates 78105. Rod 78103 attached to the throttle linkage on the carburetor. The pictures CPS432 is showing above is accommodation for for a hand throttle cable 78410.
