Howdy, been battling some intermittent ac issues In my 2002 fte 100 series for a while.
Took it to an auto sparky they checked the gas level which was fine and quickly diagnosed it as an issue with the ac button on the dash.
I’ve played around with the button and it’s a bit sticky but by no means seems to be the issue. I can get it to illuminate on and off and the car idles up when it’s on.
I’ve worked out the clutch isn’t engaging all the time. I’ve I wire power to it directly it will engage.
I’d put it on my list of things to get around to fix but when I drove today it decided to work again. Lo and behold turned it off and on and it wouldn’t engage again.
Potentially a relay issue?
