Cold air comes out of the passenger vents immediately but takes about 20 minutes to start coming out the driver side. That's with the temp set on both sides the same. Hotter the weather the longer it takes.

99% change your rear AC is hot too right? If so cheapest fix is to refill "Freon"
This was the problem with my GX where the passenger side was cool, Driver side warm, rear AC hot... once i refilled the AC the driver got cold along with the rear AC. Make sure you get the Freon WITHOUT any additives like leak detect or leak seal. That way you dont contaminate your system of there isnt a large leak,.

Yep rear is hot also.
