Hey guys, I got a good working OEM AC amplifier for a 60 series Diesel Land Cruiser. This is the electronic card that makes your AC work on a diesel LC. Perfect for those doing a diesel swap & wanting to retain all factory AC system, or just to keep a spare, as these are a discontinued item.

Asking US$100 plus the ride. Located in BC, Canada.

It should also be said that this plugs straight into the FJ60 A/C harness. You DON'T need a special harness when you do a diesel conversion.

Bump for Gustavo!

Amp what ?

This is the "brain" of the A/C system. When installing a 3B into an FJ60 the A/C system won't work because the "brain" (A/C amplifier) is looking for a signal from the coil to tell it how fast the engine is running or if it is running at all. Since a diesel doesn't have a coil it needs a different "brain" and this is the one. I've tested each of these on my BJ60 so I KNOW they all work.

You can also use this to install an A/C system from an FJ60 into a BJ/HJ60 (these are 12v devices).

This signal also used for a tach?

It has NOTHING to do with the tachometer. The tachometer on the BJ60 is off the bellhousing using a "Hall effect" sensor.

I'll really need to see how there doing a series-parallel 12 / 24 system , that is not really shown in the electrical diagrams , Both show a pile of 24 v when reading the schematics ..

Interesting as ever

That's because on '60 series it was either/or. The series/parallel 12/24v system was on the '80 series diesels (24v start and 12v everything else).

Let's keep this thread a "For Sale" thread.

Bump for the spring. These make getting the A/C working in a 3B diesel swap to an FJ60 easy.

One sold, two left! This is what makes the A/C run in a diesel powered 12v rig. You're stock gas amplifier will require significant work, if it's even possible.
