I just replaced my smog pump, along with several hoses. After my first drive I opened the hood and noticed that oil had sprayed all over the driver’s side of the engine compartment. Hard to tell how much, but looked like a single event that shotgunned the area. The epicenter seemed to be the underside of the ABV. Should I be worried?
the pump has been non functional for years. Started hunting down rough ideal last fall and replaced a bunch of parts. I don’t know if that helps find root cause or not.
