ABS sensor help

Hey all, any thought appreciated.

a week after i got some hay bale twine wrapped around my front left axle my 94 LC started having an ABS light.

It is showing ABS code 32 and then code 35.

Code 32 is front left sensor. Code 35 is open circuit on left front or rear.

I pull the front left sensor and cleaned it. It was dirty and the oil in there is pretty dirty.

The ABS codes are still the same. Im wondering if i should continuity test the wires and if there is a way i can test to see if the sensor is the problem.

FYI this turned out to be a broken wire at the wire connector under the fender. problem solved!
