Where do the brake lines from the rear wheel only ABS actuator run to? One looks like it runs from a T behind the fender well to the ABS actuator at the front of the frame. The other goes from the ABS actuator to where? Does it go all the way to the back of the truck? I haven't had the time to chase it down yet. Anybody mess with them yet? What do I have to move/disrupt to replace it?
It looks like I broke one or both of the two lines that goes to the ABS brake actuator. Haven't determined which one yet, but when driving around on the farm I got a stick jambed up in there and now the brake pedal goes nearly to the floor, and I can only lockup the driver's side front wheel. Also brake fluid is leaking down onto the inner drive shaft boot on the passenger side, and that is just below the spot where the stick got jambed into and where the brakes lines to the ABS actuator are clamped to the frame.
Vehicle details: SR5 '95 4runner, 2nd generation style, V6/3VZE/3.0, manual transmission, rear wheel only ABS. Rust bucket...
Any ideas on better armoring that area? PS, it looks like the actuator is placed there because it gets it's power from the power steering pump.
