So my ABS electric pump fried on me. My wife got the hard pedal , alarm and dash lights. I removed the electric pump and it was very clearly shot as I took it apart and examined it. Obviously from having to run continuously as I would determine later. So I replaced with one from Rockauto and it worked fine. The system built up pressure , alarms cleared and had normal pedal. The only problem is the pump woukd kick back on and run every 3-5 seconds. So after research determined it needed an accumulator. I just installed the new accumulator and it did not fix the issue . What else could be causing this. It will drive you crazy with the pump kicking in every few seconds and you can hear and feel it in the brake pedal. Besides this is just a bandaid as it is and this pump too will eventually burn up running so much. Any help woukd be greatly appreciated. I'm doing everything I can to keep from replacing the whole unit. As I don't have techstream or the knowhow to use it for a proper bleed if I were to have to swap the whole unit.
