while doing my usual 40 search, I found this trailer.

http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/rvs/3993033234.html

4.5 x 4.5 foot
weighs 900lbs
pintle hook plus receiver hitch for truck
bed liner in and out (paintable)
LED tail lights (rv plug)
33 inch BFG tires plus spare
torsion axles (independent suspension) w/upgraded bearings
2k carrying capacity
has lid (can remove) ,lockable and built to put roof top tent on top
carry all your camping or hunting gear
heavy duty construction (not a sissy home depot trailer)
rides great on the highway and will follow your 4x4 any where you go

I emailed the owner. He said he does custom trailer builds. I thought his price was good, but I want to know if anyone can comment on the build quality.

He said he would do a 6x4.5 foot trailer with a solid axle, but didnt include a price. He only said a solid axle would be cheaper than the independent suspension.

Does anyone know this guy, or could anyone local check it out/comment on the quality, or reliability?

I saw one of his trailers a year or so ago at the NM Outdoor Expo. Looked pretty good to me but I didn't test it out.:)

He is with Broken Horn Metal Works. Had few pictures pulling the trailer around the Puerco (local wheeling spot in ABQ) that showed good articulation but he was pulling it with a Jeep.

He was asking $2500 at the show.

That's good to hear. I don't know how prices usually are on y'all's side of the world, but that's cheaper than I can find here or online.

I still haven't heard back from him about a 6ft trailer with solid axle.

Thanks for the names, I am going to try to find more info about him.
