AA 203 doubler failure?

That break is under the spacer between the 2 bearings. Correct? Do you think the spacer is the problem?

No, it is inside the input gear, at the beginning of the internal splines of the gear. Abeam the seal. This is the front edge of the loading from the input gear. Not sure what you mean by spacer or "two bearings" there is a bearing in the back of the converted 203. and one in the back of the T/C. There is an input gear and a PTO gear in between those bearings... no spacers.
