A442F PTO - any help accepted

Hi,

I have an A440F in my HJ73 and I run a PTO off it. I have just destroyed my transmission and I have located an early fully hydraulic A442F complete with transfer case I am considering buying to replace the A440F. My question is a) does my existing PTO bolt onto this A442F b) if not then is there a PTO to fit this unit and c) if there is a PTO available does it fit on without any major modifications.

The engine is a 1HD-FT as I replaced the old 1HZ.

Someone I spoke to suggested that the A442F PTO bolted onto the transmission and not to the transfer case like the A440F.

Any advice gratefully accepted.

Look under the truck and see if it bolts to the trans or tcase.

My bet is the tcase.
