A343F TQ converter lockup kit

Wondering if anyone’s tried this torque converter lockup kit on the 95-98 US spec Cruisers with the A343F transmission?

The odd thing is I emailed support and they said they are unsure if it will work on A343F equipped 80-series. But then I found this install guide specifically for US Spec Cruisers:

That is a lot of coin just to turn on a solenoid in the transmission! LU has it's own solenoid in the 343 and 442.

You can do the same thing with any switch.
