my 3/4 duramax gets around 15 in the city and 11-12 towing the 80 going about 70mph. I say just drive what you like and dont worry about the mpg unless your are getting 4.

E compared to your previous 'tow rig" everything will downright suck mpg wise !

So far alls i done is the hub caps... but it really pops.


The Storm Trooper actually got horrible gas mileage. 30 on hiway and low 20's around town with a 12 gallon tank.
I'd never seen 400/single tank of gas on a trip meter in my life until this truck. In-city i just got 293 miles on 20 gallons so that's shy of 15mpg city (14.6) ad running A/C full bore and chasing down ricers at red lights.

money/time/alignment permitting I'm going to raise the front 1-2" but not the full 3" to level it... I don't wanna sag while towing.
