I didn't take much pictures and it's sort of hard to fish and take pictures at the same time. You have to do one or the other.
This is one of our yearly outings, we fish for shad and camp out on the Sacramento River for a week. Usually it's warm and we mostly wet-wade, which is a nice change of pace because we're usually wader'd up during the months prior. It sort of signifies summer is here.
But this year, we had winter like weather and you couldn't even tell it was summer in the Sacramento Valley.

Jealous... Sounds like a great time..
I went fishing too.... 23" / 4 lb Brown at Crowley Lake. My first time float tubing.... Don't know why I waited so long. My brother went wheeling and exploring the trails around Crowley while I fished. I think the next time I'm going to drive the 80 too so we can explore together.
Beautiful brown.. And yes take the 80 lots of beautiful fire roads in the area...
